i find it a bit ugly to patch all the .pro files to avoid building twice
all the signond bits which are built in net/signond... how ugly was it
to add a qt6 flavor to the latter ?

if you really insist on having another port, isn't it simpler to avoid
the patches, build everything and remove the conflicting/unwanted bits
in post-install or @comment them in PLIST ?

other than that, ok with me.
