I have ran these but I don't get the diff portion for the distinfo patches I did figure out the CVS thing I think it makes sense to me now and why it didn't work before. CVS diff is comparing my modified file to the CVS system? Once I changed the filename back to Makefile it created the diff with that command I have attached the Makefile.patch as an attachment same as before using cvs diff and after running those commands.
