Regardless of this change. Why are you so sure that we ONLY support amd64?
FreeBSD builds libva under: aarch64 amd64 armv6 armv7 i386 powerpc
powerpc64 powerpc64le?

I think libva intel-support makes sense for i386. I think we have 3 cases here:

1.) libva support in general 
2.) libva AMD/mesa drivers (maybe amd64 only)
3.) libva Intel support via ports (amd64 and maybe i386)
