I didn't mean to offend in any way, and I've just checked a random perl port
which was mail/p5-Mail-IMAPClient and it contains:

    BUILD_DEPENDS=  ${RUN_DEPENDS}

So, maybe it should be fixed as well.

I really don't know and just shared that I had noticed when I tried it.

My comment shouldn't be taken as something that prevents an update in any way.
