It's too late to import new ports for 7.6. I haven't looked at any
details in your port draft, but as I don't see a reference to the
previous work, maybe make sure to build on what was discussed in 2020
and see which parts of the discussion still apply 4 years later:

I added the authors of the discussion at the time in the CC, in case
there is interest in picking up where the last email on 2020-08-02 left
