From reading check_sym output and a diff of the headers, I *think* you
could get away with a minor bump as symbols are only added and the new
enums etc seem to be used as inputs for functions.  But go ahead with
a major bump if you have a good reason (not being sure *is* a good
reason).  I haven't tested this with consumers but this looks ok to me.
