As soon as I have the time to pick this up again, I'll focus on landing
these improvements upstream. My work situation has been… non-existent
for the past couple years, sadly, so I can't get too distracted.

You gave me a big boost even before you started sending patches when you
popped up with your second ever message in the thread to say that you're
following my progress. You have no idea how much that little comment
helped.

I'll see if I can get it done next weekend (not this upcoming one). When
is this opaque FILE thing set to land?
