Nice, thanks! New patch attached. It seems complete enough now to ask
for OK. I confirmed arm64 is still packaging up fine. I'm rebuilding
amd64 now.

I had to repack the amd64 bootstraps because I previously had the wrong
date inside the archive. Matthias, would you mind picking up the new
tarballs from my cvs dir?
