this is one of the few things which builds directly with the DCE UUID
library functions that we have in libc without patches, so it would be
nice to use them, i.e. drop the current uuid-related bits and use this
instead

checking for szlib library... suppressed

sz doesn't show up in logs otherwise and I don't see a dep pulling it
in, and check-lib-depends has this :
