I've committed this with some tweaks (drop VERSION which doesn't mean
anything, sync WANTLIB, drop unused curl LIB_DEPENDS, add a comment next
to do-gen explaining why we can't do this the normal way, add a comment
next to qtwebkit WANTLIBs).

Any issues then we can commit a diff on top.
