A new version has appeared. Note that there are two warnings about 
strcpy() and strcat() in this version:

I have reported these two warnings, and the developer is aware of 
them (and has fixed at least one occurrence already), so I think 
that providing our own patches won't be needed this time. autotest 
works on AMD64.
