Yeah, I came up with almost identical diff. I tested
47a05b3f98a60de8442168db8f9f12bb1c342575 version of splix
and it works with Samsung M2070.

However, I did initially forgot to disable ulpt(4). Sharing this,
if anyone ever spends unnecessarily too much time on it.

# cat /etc/bsd.re-config
disable ulpt
