Your patch works from my testing on -stable
Though, it still reports needing lzma on my system.

$ make port-lib-depends-check

ices-2.0.3(net/ices2):
Missing: lzma.2 from xz-5.8.1 (/usr/local/bin/ices2)
WANTLIB += lzma
*** Error 1 in target 'port-lib-depends-check' (ignored)
