Since it's marked BROKEN at the moment this is in improvement :)

I'm going to commit this with some light tweaks;

- use our usual style for CONFIGURE_ARGS

- adjust the configure patch to avoid an RCS ID comment in patch context

- regen patches with "make update-patches"

(standard workflow for patches is along the lines of "cd $(make
show=WRKSRC); cp file file.orig.port; $EDITOR file; cd -; make
update-patches").

There are some things I'm not too sure about but will be easier to work
with smaller diffs for that
