I tried shells/elvish on amd64 and arm64 with the same result:

Cannot connect to daemon: unexpected RPC error on socket /tmp/elvish-1004/sock:
dial unix /tmp/elvish-1004/sock: connect: connection refused
Daemon-related functions will likely not work.

after that I'm getting a shell prompt that does not react to keyboard input.

    Am I doing something wrong?
