(I didn't do any of that stuff on my linux machine where i run 
librewolf, because there, i imported my old firefox profile and did some 
leahing to make it work, and it stayed in german, not en-US)

on my openbsd machine i've never tried changing a fresh librewolf profil 
eover to another language, i just use en-US. i hope my last email 
helped. please do tell if you figure it. perhaps this can be added to 
the openbsd manpage for librewolf.
