Hi,

I know it's late in the release cycle for new ports, but this one here
seems relatively straightforward and may be worth for some to still get
in before lock.

Butterscotch [1] is a runtime for bytecode-compiled GameMaker games.
Not all are built this way; some are compiled into native/C++ which
can't be run.

The project may be young, but cult indie RPG Undertale is what this
runtime has been most closely developed on and it runs quite well (see
my gameplay recording at [2]).

Some other GameMaker games also run, but some are still buggy with
Butterscotch. DELTARUNE (the spiritual successor to Undertale) seems to
also be quite well supported, and its first 2 acts can be downloaded
for free [3], for example to test butterscotch. Other games that I've
checked that seem to run reasonably well on short testing are:

Cook, Server, Delicious 3, Home (2012), Mable & the Wood, Uncanny
Valley, and Va-11 Hall-A. But Undertale would be worth it alone for
many who know the game...

In order to run a GameMaker game, locate `data.win` or
`assets/game.unx` und pass it as the argument to butterscotch.

Butterscotch supports various versions of SDL or GLFW as backends, and
I chose SDL3, as it seems the most future-proof option.

The port is otherwise fairly straightforward and quick to build with
gnu99 C-compiler and SDL3.

ok?
