I have added a patch for src/btop.cpp to check also LC_CTYPE to set UTF-8 locale with btop. Build and test OK on current/amd64 **ONLY** with LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8" Issue and PR created upstream => https://github.com/aristocratos/btop/issues/752 See this new version of my sysutils/btop port.
