Well, /usr/src/lib/check_sym is designed specifically for OpenBSD developers handling base lib cranks, it's not even tailored for ports, and it's definitely not designed for the specific rules of objfw / Objective-C (which I am unaware of). Note that the comment doesn't have to be a long or even technically accurate. Maybe something like: # Additions/removals of symbols starting with a . don't warrant a # SHARED_LIBS bump. Or whatever the actual rule is... Anyway, just a suggestion. ;) -- jca
