Aah, sorry.  Yes i think Stuart already said this in the past,
i will add a note to my obsd-port-setup.sh script

      echo 'Remember: remove REVISION= on version bump; new port via .tar.gz'

(I note that the script calls

  /usr/ports/infrastructure/bin/portcheck

after adjustments are made.)
