I think it shouldn't do that.. ugh, you're right, I was sure I had it working with network disabled for _pbuild :( I hate npm. Please fetch a fresh zigbee2mqtt-1.41.0-vendor.tar.xz (if someone is testing on a machine with net, make clean=dist is enough) and try this instead. (I also changed DESCR to mention rabbitmq as an option as it's not obvious that it's usable as an MQTT server)
