I think you've been comparing this against the beta you have been testing,
not against wayland 1.25.0 from ports:

/usr/local/lib/libwayland-server.so.0.4 --> 
/build/pobj/wayland-1.26.0/fake-amd64/usr/local/lib/libwayland-server.so.0.4
Dynamic export changes:
added:
         wl_display_remove_socket_fd
         wl_fixes_handle_ack_global_remove
         wl_global_set_withdrawn_listener

I think wayland-server needs a minor bump.
