From: pvpdm email Subject: Caddy port (caddy-2.11.4) doesn't bind on ipv6 interfaces To: ports@openbsd.org Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2026 02:57:04 +0300 Hello OpenBSD ports team, I am using caddy-2.11.4 to act as a simple http server and reverse proxy for some services in my home network. I have both IPv4 and IPv6 support from my ISP and I have enabled IPv6 on on the OpenBSD machine. My issue is that caddy refuses to bind to any IPv6 interface/address. If I try to bind, for example, port 443 with nc it listens on it just fine. I tried binding a static response with `bind [::]` on port 8888, but it still refuses to bind. Here is an example of my Caddyfile with info redacted: ``` ##### OPTIONS ##### {     metrics {         per_host         observe_catchall_hosts     }     log {         output file /var/log/caddy/caddy.log         format json {             time_format rfc3339         }     }     email admin@example.com } (robots) {     route /robots.txt {         root * /var/www/my.website/robots/         file_server     } } ##### SERVICES ##### service1.my.website {     import robots     reverse_proxy 192.168.1.2 {         header_up X-Real-Ip {remote_host}     }     log {         output file /var/log/caddy/service1.my.website.log         format json {             time_format rfc3339         }     } } my.website {     import robots     root * /var/www/my.website/default/     file_server     log {         output file /var/log/caddy/my.website.log         format json {             time_format rfc3339         }     } } ``` Thanks for your time
