From briefly watching the build at times 4GB will definitely not be a enough. I'm also not sure if the build once it gets past the initial bootstrap respects such a value of MAKE_JOBS. > ksh: /usr/ports/pobj/zig-0.17.0/build-mips64/zig2: Cannot allocate memory > > Doesn't seem to be ulimits this time, perhaps the binary is too big to > run or so? > > objdump says this: > objdump -p /usr/ports/pobj/zig-0.17.0/build-mips64/zig2 > > /usr/ports/pobj/zig-0.17.0/build-mips64/zig2:     file format > elf64-tradbigmips > > Program Header: >     PHDR off    0x0000000000000040 vaddr 0x0000000000000040 paddr > 0x0000000000000040 align 2**3 >          filesz 0x0000000000000348 memsz 0x0000000000000348 flags r-x >   INTERP off    0x0000000000000388 vaddr 0x0000000000000388 paddr > 0x0000000000000388 align 2**0 >          filesz 0x0000000000000013 memsz 0x0000000000000013 flags r-- >     LOAD off    0x0000000000000000 vaddr 0x0000000000000000 paddr > 0x0000000000000000 align 2**16 >          filesz 0x000000000775b740 memsz 0x000000000775b740 flags r-- >     LOAD off    0x000000000775b740 vaddr 0x000000000776b740 paddr > 0x000000000776b740 align 2**16 >          filesz 0x00000000093cc69c memsz 0x00000000093cc69c flags --x >     LOAD off    0x0000000010b2b8a0 vaddr 0x0000000010b4b8a0 paddr > 0x0000000010b4b8a0 align 2**16 >          filesz 0x0000000000c9bb08 memsz 0x0000000000d5a250 flags rw- >  DYNAMIC off    0x00000000000208e8 vaddr 0x00000000000208e8 paddr > 0x00000000000208e8 align 2**3 >          filesz 0x0000000000000260 memsz 0x0000000000000260 flags rwx >     NOTE off    0x000000000000039c vaddr 0x000000000000039c paddr > 0x000000000000039c align 2**2 >          filesz 0x0000000000000018 memsz 0x0000000000000018 flags r-- > EH_FRAME off    0x0000000006e5bad0 vaddr 0x0000000006e5bad0 paddr > 0x0000000006e5bad0 align 2**2 >          filesz 0x00000000001a6c2c memsz 0x00000000001a6c2c flags r-- >    STACK off    0x0000000000000000 vaddr 0x0000000000000000 paddr > 0x0000000000000000 align 2**3 >          filesz 0x0000000000000000 memsz 0x0000000000000000 flags rw- > OPENBSD_RANDOMIZE off    0x0000000010b2cde8 vaddr 0x0000000010b4cde8 > paddr 0x0000000010b4cde8 align 2**3 >          filesz 0x0000000000000160 memsz 0x0000000000000160 flags rw- > RELRO off    0x0000000010b2b8a0 vaddr 0x0000000010b4b8a0 paddr > 0x0000000010b4b8a0 align 2**0 >          filesz 0x0000000000c78760 memsz 0x0000000000c78760 flags r-- > Dynamic Section: > NEEDED      libexecinfo.so.5.0 > NEEDED      libpthread.so.28.1 > NEEDED      libm.so.10.1 > NEEDED      libz.so.7.2 > NEEDED      libc++.so.13.0 > NEEDED      libc++abi.so.10.0 > NEEDED      libc.so.104.0 > RPATH       /usr/local/llvm22/lib > RUNPATH     /usr/local/llvm22/lib > INIT_ARRAY  0x10b4b8a0 > INIT_ARRAYSZ 0x1548 > HASH        0x20b48 > STRTAB      0x203870 > SYMTAB      0x811d0 > STRSZ       0x5223ea > SYMENT      0x18 > 0x70000035  0x117c69b8 > DEBUG       0x0 > PLTGOT      0x11247750 > REL         0x725c60 > RELSZ       0x1d77d00 > RELENT      0x10 > 0x70000001  0x1 > 0x70000005  0x2 > 0x70000006  0x0 > 0x7000000a  0x1592 > 0x70000011  0x1019c > 0x70000012  0x1c > 0x70000013  0x277 > FLAGS       0x1 > private flags = 20000007: [abi=64] [mips3] [not 32bitmode] > > -- > May the most significant bit of your life be positive.
