Thread
Hi,

Please find attached the port of KeeperRL, an open source game in the
spirit of Dungeon Keeper or Overlord. This means that this game is
about reversing the role of tropy RPG heroes and villains, and tasking
the player with building a dungeon, raiding nearby villages,
collecting resources, building traps for heroes that try to attack the
dungeon, etc. This has been in development for many years and now has
seen the 1.0 release.

The port is built with C++, using the usual suspects of openal and
sdl2 libraries. It comes with free (and primitive) assets that can be
used, though the better supported way is to run the commercially
available game which includes music, sound effects, nicer graphics, and
a tutorial. The website links to all places where those can be obtained
[1], including itch.io, GOG.com.

I've launched both versions and played through the tutorial with the
commercial version. The README explains how to launch each one. A few
more technical notes about the port:

- It currently builds with Steam features that link to the goldberg
emulator library. There is a flag to skip Steam integration
(NO_STEAMWORKS), but that currently runs into build problems with
missing Steam-related symbols. Hopefully with future updates, the
  Steam/goldberg dependency can be dropped.
- While the 1.0 release has been announced officially and the engine
itself advertises version 1.0, there is no 1.0 GitHub release or tag.

ok for import?
